Vrouwen eindelijk weg van het aanrecht en gezond eten in kantines. Voeding was volop aanwezig in Sovjetpropaganda. Leidse alumnus Olav Hofland won met zijn scriptie over de keukenpolitiek van de Soviet-Unie de Volkskrant-ISSG-Scriptieprijs. In de Volkskrant vertelt hij over zijn onderzoek.

Het flitsinterview van deze maand is met alumna Sytske Besemer, criminologe, die werkt bij Cradle, een start-up. Sytske heeft bewust gekozen om te werken in het bedrijfsleven, maar dan wel bij bedrijven met maatschappelijke impact. En ze staat op het punt (weer) te verhuizen, dit keer naar Zürich.
