Alumni-activiteit

Vrouwen eindelijk weg van het aanrecht en gezond eten in kantines. Voeding was volop aanwezig in Sovjetpropaganda. Leidse alumnus Olav Hofland won met zijn scriptie over de keukenpolitiek van de Soviet-Unie de Volkskrant-ISSG-Scriptieprijs. In de Volkskrant vertelt hij over zijn onderzoek.

Op belangrijke buitenlandreizen organiseert de Universiteit Leiden zo mogelijk een bijeenkomst speciaal voor alumni uit het betreffende land. Zo ook tijdens het bezoek aan Mexico. Op maandag 23 oktober kwamen zo’n dertig alumni bij elkaar in Mexico-Stad.
